Mission Statement

The mission of the Central Illinois Breastfeeding Task Force is to support, encourage, and educate our communities about the importance and necessity of breastfeeding, as it is a public health priority. We strive to present breastfeeding as the norm.

The Central Illinois Breastfeeding Task Force INVITES YOU to be part of the action!

Supporting breastfeeding means supporting families in helping them to accomplish their feeding goals. It means helping make your community a healthier place to live. It means giving you an opportunity to be involved in something bigger than yourself!

The Central Illinois Breastfeeding Task Force includes breastfeeding advocates from: Bureau, Fulton, Henderson, Henry, Knox, LaSalle, Marshall, Putnam, Mercer, Peoria, Rock Island, Stark, Tazewell, Warren and Woodford counties.
